Yet Another Problem with the NFL Pro Bowl

For years the Pro Bowl has been the ugly stepchild of the NFL season. The league has tried to figure out a way to make the fans, and the players, care about the annual all-star game but it hasn’t worked. They’ve implemented drafts, rule changes, and even a skills showcase with dodgeball and other events…

Thoughts From the NFC and AFC Championship Games

The two conference championship games we got this weekend in the NFL were interesting. I can’t really call them anything else because one game was a blowout where the losing team almost started looking for quarterbacks in the stands and the other was a divisive game that came down to a few big plays at…

About Me

My name is Cody Schoeler and I am a huge sports fan. I have been following sports for basically my entire life and my goal in life is to be able to share that with others. I started this website, The Dime Press, in order to do just that. The name is an homage to the penny press, which was an invention that allowed journalism, especially sports journalism, to really take off. In the almost 200 years since the invention of that tool, technology has only improved, allowing me to be able to have a blog such as this to share my thoughts about whatever sports I want to whenever I want to. I hope this endeavor gives you as much joy as a reader as it gives me as a writer. Enjoy The Dime Press.
